Tiruppavai 27 · verse 500 of the four thousand
Meaning
O Govinda, glorious One who wins over even those who do not come to You! The reward we receive for singing You and taking the drum is one the whole land will praise. We will wear fine ornaments of every kind: bracelets, armlets, ear studs, ear flowers and anklets. We will put on new clothes. And then, sitting together, we will eat rice cooked in milk, so covered in ghee that it runs down to our elbows, and our hearts will be cool with joy.
