Meaning
O lady who did her penance and now enjoys heaven, will those who do not open the door not even give an answer? Narayana, whose crown bears fragrant tulasi, the Holy One who gives us the drum when we praise Him, long ago sent Kumbhakarna into the jaws of death: did Kumbhakarna lose to you and hand you his great sleep? O so very drowsy one, rare jewel, come out steady and open the door!
