The Body of the Lord

Science Within the Veda: A Vishishtadvaita Vision

Sri Ramanuja taught that the whole universe, every star and every soul, is the body of the Lord, real and distinct, yet held and moved by Him from within. The Body of the Lord takes that teaching to the questions science asks: what matter is, why nature keeps its laws, how the cosmos breathes out and in, and why the same pattern repeats from atom to galaxy.

Across ten short chapters it meets Rta as the Lord's unbroken promise, sets the Veda's account of creation beside modern measurement, listens to what the physicists said when they read the Upanishads, and is careful about what we must not claim. Wonder is meant to end in worship.
